U.S. Judge approves $22.5 million Google fine in Apple’s Safari privacy case

U.S. Judge Susan IIIston ruled that she will approve the terms of settlement between U.S. Federal trade Commission and Google, only when Google pays a fine of $22.5 million for placing cookies on the Apple’s Safari Internet browser. She mentioned in her order that the declared order is both substantively and procedurally just, adequate and reasonable.
